It was another one of those nights when the sims didn't want to talk to each other but we made prevailed. MSR had a good night as I picked up the first wins in the first two rounds, and seconds in the last two rounds. I could have very well had a win in the last race but got busted on a rule 11 infraction. I may have done it so I can't really complain about. You can see the race results posted here
Also midway through the race I added another racer to the MSR roster. Please welcome
Neron Blanco
He has been racing for a few months now and has amassed an impressive 10 round and 3 overall wins in that short time and will be a strong additition to the team.

ACA race Thursday May 21
In another batch of Thursday races hosted by Gemma Vuckovic, Quirky finished with a 4th place and 6 place in the 2 rounds he raced. Even though these results don't look like much for him they are actually quite good finishes considering the talent level of those who race in the thursday series.
So good showing Q and good luck in your next race.

Race Results
We had 2 nights of racing this week with Quirky scoring a win and 2 second places on thursday, I'll post a link to those results as soon as they come online.
The friday races were interesting as usual with Quirky scoring a fifth place in the first race and sitting out the remainder after a second race that was scrapped due to poor conditions limiting access to the finish line. I finished third in round one with an amazing view of a great finish, and won the remaining 2 races with even closer finishes.
So heres to an amazing start to the weekend for MSR, hopefully next week we will have some of our other racers sitting on the race lines once they get a hang of their boats.

3 More
I've raided the pirate stash and come up with 3 more racers joining MSR.
Please welcome
Dierji Korhonen
Emme Eales
and
Reven Fhang
Once they get some time in with their new boats I'm sure they will battling their way through the best ACA racing has to offer.

Busy Already
It's been unusually busy on the island, we've created a new look and added a new member with another possible on the horizon.
As seen above we've created a new look for the team ACA's, its all part of building a little team unity, although completely optional. For any team members that wish have these sails, IM me in world with you boat ID and I'll make you a set.
Also we added a new member Triton Sands has been added to the team after 2 weeks of subtle poking. Welcome Triton and best of luck.
Welcome to Midnight Sail Racing
Midnight Sail Racing is a group dedicated to sail boat racing in second life. Our main purpose is support of our racers and to let on to whats happening with the group. As of now our only racers are Carmen Foden and Quirky Torok, but we are looking to expand. Perks to being part of the group include free t-shirts, sails, and other things as they come available. We'll also post race results , and offer sailing tactics to our members, as well as announcements on up coming events.
So please feel free to visit and join us inworld @
